Florida workers' comp settlement chart

Florida has no body-part schedule of weeks. After maximum medical improvement a doctor assigns a whole-body impairment rating under the uniform permanent impairment rating schedule (440.15(3)(b)); weeks of impairment income benefits = rating x weeks-per-point tier (2 for 1-10%, 3 for 11-15%, 4 for 16-20%, 6 for 21%+, accidents on or after Oct. 1, 2003), paid at 75% of the weekly TTD rate (440.15(3)(c), (3)(g)).

Each week pays 50% of your average weekly wage, up to $1,358 a week (injuries on or after 2026-01-01).

What a settlement adds or takes away

The chart is the statute's payment for a permanent injury. A lump-sum settlement can differ: it may also close out future medical care or wage loss, and the insurer and the judge must agree. A workers' comp lawyer in Florida can tell you what your rating is likely to be.
